TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – This is the four corners area of downtown Toledo. You have the Huntington Building, the Spitzer Building, the Nicholas Building and the Nasby. For redevelopment to really conclude down here in Toledo, you need to fix this corner and the Nasby is on the list.

This is a building in transition, after decades showing a new face. It is one of the oldest buildings in Toledo.

The old gorgeous facade was covered over with modern facelessness, the original facade is now showing again as part of the renovation.

The owner is waiting for a TARTA transit stop that will no longer be needed when TARTA builds a new downtown transit hub. The land the former transit stop is on is needed for parking for the Nasby.

Toledo knows from it’s perspective, downtown revitalization is not complete until this four corners area is renovated.–ToledoME–Nasby-Building-494662571.html
