FINDLAY, Ohio (WTVG) – When you walk into Dragon Craft Creations in downtown Findlay, Ohio, each room in the store has a different theme. From kitchen decor and produce, to antiques, paintings, and candles.

The front room is where owner Airon Ramsey houses his woodworking crafts. The passion that started it all.

“Working either in construction or working with wood tools and you know making wood projects is just always something that’s been a passion of mine,” says Ramsey.

Ramsey worked as a mechanic at a car dealership for almost seven years. After being fired, his lifelong hobby of woodworking became his full-time job.

Ramsey was making shelves, toys, furniture, and other home decors out of his garage.

He began consigning his work with the Kountry Cupboard, a local antique store.

When the owner asked Ramsey if he wanted to take over the shop, he saw an opportunity to showcase local artists and their handmade crafts.

“It’s a place to bring your extra products. Everybody has their little niche and that’s what’s nice to be able to get it out there, let people see it.” says one of Ramsey’s vendors, Daphnae Bishop.

Dragon Craft Creations is always looking for more vendors with unique products to bring to the store. You can visit them at 610 S Blanchard St, Findlay, OH 45840.
