TOLEDO, Ohio (13abc Action News) – ProMedica is getting ready to cut the ribbon on its new headquarters in downtown Toledo. To celebrate, the health care system announced plans Monday to host a summer concert series.

Three free performances will be held at the newly renovated Promenade Park. The first is on Friday, July 21 at 7:30pm. The concert will feature local talent Crystal Bowersox and Calysta Bevier. Musicians from the Toledo Symphony Orchestra will join Bowersox for a portion of her performance. 13abc’s Tony Geftos will be the MC for the inaugural concert.

The second concert will be 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 25. Grammy Award-winning producer and vocalist Steve Tyrel will performl.

The third concert, A Symphonic Tribute to the Music of Prince, will be 7:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15. A tribute band made up of former members of Prince’s New Power Generation will perform his biggest hits, including “Purple Rain,” “When Doves Cry,” “U Got the Look,” “Raspberry Beret,” and more.
