TOLEDO (WTVG) – People wanted to soak in the sun while at the Toledo Mud Hens game on Saturday.
13abc’s Anchor and Reporter Tony Geftos’ wife Colleen Geftos sang the National Anthem at Saturday’s game.
People also took advantage of downtown Toledo restaurants and bars on the warmest day of the year.
From daylight and into night, more and more people enjoyed downtown.
“It’s absolutely beautiful out,” said Emily Youssef. They’re doing a lot to downtown and we should be down here.”
Price Murphy said, “the weather has broken a few times this year, but tonight it’s pretty remarkable.”
Saturday evening fans were also out to watch the Toledo Walleye play.
Around 9:00 p.m. people were enjoying the night and still in t-shirts and shorts while enjoying good company on outside patios.
