TOLEDO (WTVG) – Sunday evening people gathered at the SeaGate Centre for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Walk.
Hundreds of people filled downtown Toledo with colored lanterns.
Money raised for this event will provide patient support services, life saving treatments and cancer research, according to the Light the Night website.
Evening festivities kicked off with activities. The walk was scheduled to begin at 7:35 p.m. and after that the crowd enjoyed fireworks.
From the website, participates were able to raise $118,452.
