The average age of women who suffer from heart disease is getting younger. It used to be a disease of women in their 70’s and 80’s. But now it’s a condition that women in their 40’s and 50’s are dealing with coronary artery disease.

The latest statistics from the American Heart Assocation.

1. Cardiovascular diseases kill nearly one in three women each year. It takes more lives than all forms of cancer combined.

2. More than one in three women is living with some form of cardiovascular disease and account for almost half of all cardiovascular deaths.
