The Ohio Lottery’s television program is celebrating 30 years on the air. As part of that celebration, Cash Explosion is taping its 30th Anniversary Special at the Stranahan Theater and Great Hall on Saturday.
The Lottery is holding a pre-show party at 2:00pm outside the theater. It will feature outdoor entertainment, live music, games and prizes.
The doors open at 5:00pm for members of the audience to take their seats for the show. Admission is free and open to the public. However, seating is limited and will be issued on a firest-come first-served basis.
The Ohio Lottery says Cash Explosion has long been committed to its Facing Hunger Campaign. The show is working with the Toledo Northwest Ohio Foodbank to collect cash, check and virtual online donations. The first 1,000 people to donate at the event will receive a special 30th anniversary item from Cash Explosion and the Ohio Lottery.
The Toledo show marks the first road show for Cash Explosion since October of 2015. The episode willair on Saturday, August 26 at 7:30pm.
The Ohio Lottery has also contributed more than $23,000,000,000 to education since 1974. For more information on donations to that program, click on the “More Information’ link on this page.
