TOLEDO (13abc Action News) – Jeep workers were celebrating a big day in Jeep history as a historic Jeep came to life.

A commemorative 75th edition paying tribute to the 1941 MB rolled off the Toledo line Friday.

The commemorative Wrangler built right here in the Toledo assembly complex on the same day when 75 years ago Willys Overland received its first purchase order for 18,000 of what were called MB jeeps.

Friday’s custom made Wrangler is meant to highlight that Willys Overland history and it is the only one that is made.

It will be on display on Saturday for a family picnic for employees and their families.
