TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) – Promedica and The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences unveil a new Neurosciences Center. The 57-million dollar facility will house treatment for all neuro related conditions, injuries and diseases.

The goal is for patients to be able to stay in town for their treatment instead of traveling hours away in many cases. With the explosion of people being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and Dementia, the center is expected to serve a growing population.

The center will also specialize in treating back pain, headaches, parkinson’s disease. This is the first facility to house programs connected to the UTMC Partnership with Promedica.
